We are all aware that plants sequester carbon,capturing carbon dioxide from atmosphere, and carbon is then transformed into biomass through photosynthesis.

LIFE C-FARMs signals important steps forward that the EU is taking in clarifying the carbon absorption market.
One of the expected C-FARMs project results is related to the creation of a methodological and normative framework communally applicable to enable a wider uptake of Carbon Farming practices and develop a regulatory framework for a carbon certification system in relation to carbon farming practices.
