As part of the LIFE C-FARMS project, a certification scheme for Carbon Farming practices from agroforestry farms has been drafted by project partners.
This document, among the major project objectives of the LIFE C-FARMs preparatory project (LIFE20 PRE IT/017), has now reached the public consultation stage, having been affected by an initial drafting phase by the project partners and subsequently having received and integrated stakeholder comments in two dedicated online meetings, the first held on 01/23/2023 and the second on 03/20/2023.
Through this public consultation phase officially open from 03 april 2023 until 03 may 2023, you can send your comments and remarks to help us improve the document, giving all people who wish to contribute their input to the definition of the document the opportunity to do so.

At the end of this phase what emerged from the comments and evaluations will be considered and possibly integrated. An ancillary document will also be produced in which any critical issues that have emerged with respect to the application of a carbon farming standard in the current landscape of our country will be reported.
