The GreenItaly 2022 Report “An economy on a human scale for the future of Europe” was officially presented on October 25th 2022 by the Symbola Foundation and Unioncamere.
The report, now in its thirteenth edition, studies and analyzes “green” companies in Italy, highlighting their constant growth over the years and their marked ability to deal with the current crisis in a better way than other companies.
In chapter 3 of the report dedicated to the geographies of GreenItaly, the LIFE C-FARMs project is also mentioned, within the paragraph dedicated to agri-food, identified as an “important European project in the field of carbon farming”.
The report also underlines that in Italy the experiences of carbon credit generation are still few and, in this context, the LIFE C-FARMs project is therefore one of those works that could be an important starting point for companies in the agri-food sector that want implement carbon farming practices, calculate the generation of carbon credits and develop a certification system.
