Supporting the implementation and development, integration of climate and agricultural, environmental and energy policy and legislation

The project supports the design and implementation of targeted payments for the application of Carbon Farming practices through the development of a regulatory framework for a carbon certification system in collaboration with relevant actors and institutions.

To accomplish its objectives,
C-FARMs will involve public Institutions, University/research centres, private companies and farmer/woodworking industry associations working specifically on themes related to the LULUCF sector.

The project:

CARBON FARMING CERTIFICATION SYSTEM

is co-funded by the 2020 LIFE Programme of the European Commission under code “LIFE20 PRE IT/017”.

The project duration is from December 2021 to 2023.

The contents of this publication are the sole responsibility of FederlegnoArredo and do not necessarily reflect the opinion of the European Union.

Besides, the project will also involve the Institutions with the official responsibilities of GHG reporting, the offices from Regional authorities dealing with agricultural themes (e.g. CAP payments) and the Institutions dealing with the certification systems.
